Toronto's newest neighbourhood is the Canary District. This painting is a scene I saw at Doors Open Toronto . The street art, buildings and park area is unique and vibrant, adding to the diversity of neighbourhoods in this city.

About Diane Arlitt

Diane Arlitt

Diane Arlitt is a retired educator who has always had an interest in art and studied art history in university. Diane has participated in a number of art courses including The Toronto District School Board, The Haliburton School for the Arts, plein air painting courses on Grand Manan Island, Georgian Bay School of the Arts and several urban landscape painting courses in the city. Diane joined the Don Valley Art Club and enjoys the varied programs that are offered to its members. .Diane has also served as its Membership Chair. Diane regularly participates in the Don Valley Art Club shows at the Papermill Gallery as well as other Art Shows in Toronto. She enjoys painting both landscapes and still life, some inspired by her travels...
